Garuda Stage is a beautiful bamboo structure in a pristine setting near the ocean with a stunning natural backdrop and is the largest amphitheater in Bali. Here we feature some of Indonesia’s finest musicians & bands.
The year one programming featured a carefully curated lineup of well-known, influential artists and up & coming talents: from Jazz to Soul, R&B to Rockabilly, and Singer-Songwriter to Ska, our lineup was packed with some of Indonesia’s best talent.
While you may still need to discover every name on the lineup, the music quality is of the highest caliber. In addition, we are very proud to feature a truly world-class light show by the famed CollabArt team.
The Seaside Stage is one of our favorite areas on the Nuanu land. Perched on the cliff top overlooking Nyanyi Beach sits a beautiful stage where we feature many Balinese performances such as Kecak & Joged Bumbung.
One of the best spots in Bali to take in a sunset, with a fresh sea breeze keeping the audience cool. During the day, the programming mixes live music, Balinese performances, and thought leaders sharing their wisdom. At night the stage transforms into a seaside dance party featuring some of Bali’s favorite DJs.
The Yin Yang Shala hosts Suara’s Thought Leaders, Workshops, and Educational content. Hosted in the Bamboo Club at our 2022 event, this was one of our most popular spaces, and this year we will be in our stunning & inspiring new communal building.
Suara prides itself on its world-class educational content. The lineup of interesting speakers, interactive workshops, & thought-provoking presenters already matches any festival of its size in the world. It is a symposium for thinkers, activists, and philosophers.
The Kids Area at Suara 2022 was the most beautiful & heartwarming aspect of the event.
Packed from open to close, the Kids Area was where the Balinese & foreign children demonstrated to all the adults what it means to connect across cultures truly. It was a mix of arts & crafts, sandboxes, swings, free play - where kids just get to be kids, and a curated lineup of magic shows, puppets, snake shows, and fun activities that kids enjoy.
It is one of the most lively zones in the entire festival.
In the Food Garden, you can find a delightful mix of healthy offerings catered by some of Bali’s finest restaurants, mixed with Balinese street food such as grilled corn & sate ayam, making it affordable and giving options for a diverse audience.
We have two full bars featuring healthy juices, coconuts, locally crafted brews & cocktails. Suara is committed to conscious earth stewardship and places eco-friendly practices as one of its top priorities.
Somewhere between an art museum & a traditional bazaar, the Market Walk will be the perfect place to browse, perhaps purchase a gift for yourself, & see what the local artists are creating.
